  2. I have never heard of Potbelly. Jimmy John sandwiches are all cold (which leaves them flavorless) and they wrap them so tight that it compresses the filling and makes me feel that I am getting only half a sandwich. Firehouse subs are hot and gooey, and the heat enhances the flavor. I don’t like the fakey enthusiasm of walking through the door and having my entrance noted by “WELCOME TO FIREHOUSE SUBS!” Sometimes I just want to be a little more anonymous.
